About Me

dogsI am particularly proud of three things in my life:

I began my career with Manpower 26 years ago as a temporary employee — as the assistant to the secretary of the CEO, making $5 an hour. Since then I’ve learned from Manpower employees (every year that’s more than 400,000 in the U.S. alone) and have had the good fortune to get a front row seat at hundreds of client companies. I’ve held lots of different positions along the way to my current — and very favorite — role of Vice President of World of Work Solutions.

I never get tired of learning new things, so in 2005 (when I was 55 years old) I earned my MBA from Kellogg. It’s true — you can teach an old dog new tricks and this ‘old dog’ loved every minute of the classes, the homework, my study group, the fun and even the food!

Finally (and speaking of dogs), the current loves of my life are my two fabulous canine companions. Wilson is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is true to his breed — his primary goal in life is to spend as much time as possible in my lap. Hannah, my gorgeous yellow Lab, relentlessly wants action in my back yard, at the dog park or simply running around my dining room table. Never a dull moment!
